Superior Homes Kenya PLC is a real estate developer who takes pride in being the pioneer of the open-plan gated community concept in East Africa, which is now recognized as the future for sustainable living in East Africa. Developments under the Superior Homes brand include Greenpark Estate in Athi River, Pazuri at Vipingo and Lake Elementaita Mountain Lodge.

The Head of Brand and Marketing will be responsible for the overall oversight of the brand and marketing function of all Superior Homes Entities. The role ensures a consistent brand presence across all channels while aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, facilitate and implement the overall corporate strategic marketing plan
  2. Manage and co-ordinate all marketing, advertising, PR, promotional activities in liaison with all other relevant stakeholders
  3. Liaise with media, advertising and PR agencies
  4. Responsible for the Company’s website, including content development and continuous updating of the website
  5. Co-ordinate the design and implementation of all market research programs and monitor the implementation of the recommendations
  6. Co-ordinate and support development of a wide range of innovative products
  7. Support and facilitate development and implementation of strategic market plans for the various business entities
  8. Source for suitable OOH locations and ensure the assets are well maintained
  9. Develop and administer marketing databases on the industry/competition
  10. Develop promotion materials to assist in marketing activities of the various projects
  11. Determine and manage marketing budgets
  12. Be the steward that supports the brand promise, vision, position, architecture and achieve the business goals to deliver a strong Superior Homes brand and grow brand equity.
  13. Responsible for event management and corporate sponsorship activities including corporate brand advertising, sponsorships and all CSR activities.
  14. Responsible for the development of a well-structured CSR program that supports our vision, mission and values.
  15. Work closely with Brand Strategy & Advertising agencies and PR consultants to ensure that the brand internalization and re-branding project is effectively executed and the goals and objectives of the exercise are achieved within reasonable time frames.
  16. Co-ordinate the implementation of the recommendations arising from the brand strategy and positioning research.
  17. Plan, strategize and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market.
  18. Ensure that the Superior Homes brand name, logo, colour and symbol are correctly displayed on all stationery and corporate communication materials and that all offices & sites are appropriately branded.
  19. Develop a brand positioning that differentiates Superior Homes from its competitors and provides value proposition and excellent relationship with our customers.
  20. Maintain excellent relations with media houses and ensure adequate corporate visibility and coverage of all events sponsored by Superior Homes.
  21. Maintain a strong relationship with the external stakeholders, government agencies and regulatory bodies
  22. Prepare media briefings, speeches, reports and other communication for corporate management and directors
  23. Design and implement both external and internal communication strategy.
  24. Management of social media
Requirements:
  1. Have more than 10 years of experience in a similar role
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  3. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing and brand strategies
  4. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, market research, and consumer insights.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and results-oriented mindset.
  7. Experience managing budgets, agencies, and high-performing teams.
